1.)  Station Managers (Ref: FSM/1310): Enugu, Kano & Owerri

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for Managers to lead our Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri and Maiduguri branches. Station Managers will be responsible for the administration of the branch office, operation and represent the airline

Requirements
Candidates will be University graduates or holder  of IATA/UFTA with at least 10 years experience in an IATA member airline, three of which must be recently as a Station Manager and shall not be less than 30 years old. Holding a flight dispatch license will be an added advantage.

2.) Cargo Manager (Ref: FCM/1510)

The Role
Cargo represents a vital and critical profit centre for us at FirstNation and we are seeking for an exceptional cargo manager to reinvigorate a vibrant cargo department.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of first degree from a reputable University, considerable post qualification training including the IATA diploma in cargo and extensive experience in both cargo operation and sales
The cargo manager must be a goal getter, well cultured, reliable, versatile and be able to work with little or no supervision. Candidate will need to have a minimum of ten years experience working for an IATA member carrier and previous working experience in Nigeria will be an added advantage

3.)  Cargo Officers (Ref: FCS/1610)

Requirements

Candidate shall have first degree from a recognized University in addition to relevant IATA with three years working experience with IATA member Airlines or Cargo Company

4.) Passenger Sales Officers (Ref: FPS/1710): Enugu, Kano & Owerri

Requirements

We are looking for dynamic passenger officers with a minimum of BSc and IATA/UFTA Diploma. Applicants will demonstrate proof of residence in their city of preference and will need to possess 3 years experience

5.)  Accountant Officers (Ref: FFT/1110)

Requirements

University degree in Accounting and ACCA or equivalent with at least five years proven experience in Aviation industry

6.) Human Resources Officers (Ref: FHR/120):

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be University graduate with experience of 5 years in personnel management, people manager, disciplined, focused, and well cultured with leadership quality

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee Implementation Science Research
  • Manage day to day operations of research project
  • Coordinate activities of Investigative Team
  • Serve as primary point of contact with Nigerian partners
  • Provide oversight, training and support for data collection conducted by partners
  • Support data analysis conducted by US-based and Nigerian partners

    Support Global Efforts to Collect and Manage Data -- Forward Knowledge Management
  • In collaboration with the R&M Director, support and promote the use of knowledge management within the Pact.
  • Be conversant in a variety of pre-packaged software including (but not limited to): SPSS, Excel, Micro-soft Access and Access MSQL, Skype

    Support Dissemination of Findings and Recommendation
  • Actively participate in the organization and implementation of research activities
  • Organize meetings, events or other venues to disseminate findings with stakeholders including PEPFAR, USAID and Nigerian government agencies and OVC programming implementing partners

    Collaboration, Communication and R&M Representation
  • Represent Pact R&M in Washington or other locales as directed by the R&M Director
  • Maintain close contact with the R&M Director and regional R&M Advisors
  • Make presentations at HQ and to others as directed by the R&M Director

    Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of research and survey methodologies including data collection , analysis, recommendations and dissemination
  • Strong facilitation, teaching and coaching skills related to R&M
  • Ability to work independently and to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Sound networking skills; ability to work collaboratively and collegially in teams
  • Ability to establish and sustain interpersonal and professional relationships with Pact staff, in donor organizations and in peer organizations
  • Proficiency in word processing
  • Ability to travel within Nigeria

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    Required
  • Master's degree and experience managing a large research study.
  • Proficiency in Monitoring & Evaluation and Research, Management, or closely related field

Society for Family Health (SFH) is the lead implementing organization of the 5 year USAID expanded social marketing programme in Nigeria (ESMPIN) project in partnership with PSI, BBC World Service Trust and Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH). The ESMPIN project aims to substantially increase access to and coverage of modern contraceptives through private sector channels in Nigeria using tested social marketing approaches. The project was contracted in April 2011 and commenced operations July 2011. SFH seeks candidates for the position of Behavior Change Communication Specialist to be based in Abuja, Nigeria.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include but are not limited to:  Oversee the development, management and implementation of a communication strategy to increase use of health products and practice of healthy behaviors  Oversee implementation of a communication strategy to effectively influence behavior change at the individual, community and political levels  Oversee and manage a wide variety of interventions from mass media advertising campaigns to small group and interpersonal communications  Oversee development and management of a strategy to build the capacity of Nigerian organizations and government counterparts in BCC programming  Effectively collaborate with all key partners and stakeholders throughout the life of the project
 Oversee the development and harmonization of program messages, IEC materials and related training curriculum  Develop in coordination with partners a mass media dissemination and monitoring plan  Supervise a team of project staff and create professional development opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:  Masters degree in public health or other relevant health or behavior change communications discipline  Minimum 8-10 years experience in two or more large-scale social marketing and BCC programs  Experience with implementing BCC in the context of FP/RH/MCH/Malaria and behavior change interventions at different levels in 2 or more developing countries.  Demonstrated technical expertise in a relevant mix of designing, managing and evaluating health programs through social marketing, as well as small group and IPC activities that have led to correct and sustained use of methods, services and socially-marketed products  Familiarity with the different cultural, social and religious identities in Nigeria and/or in a similar African setting  Excellent organizational, teamwork and multitasking capabilities  Fluency in English required  Demonstrated ability to produce results
The successful candidate will also have excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-cultural skills; demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize a variety of tasks on short notice within designated deadlines; able to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced work environment; excellent team work skills and a demonstrated capacity to produce results.
